[edit] 1. Name and Affiliation
- a) The name of this organization shall be the Socialist Party of Boston.
- b) The Socialist Party of Boston shall be the Boston-area local affiliate of the Socialist Party of Massachusetts.
[edit] 2. Jurisdiction
- The jurisdiction of the Local shall be all cities and towns covering a geographical area of a 25 mile radius from the State House in Boston, Massachusetts.
[edit] 3. Local Officers
- a) The Local Executive Committee shall be composed of a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
- b) The term of office for all officers shall be one year.
[edit] 4. Local Executive Committee elections
- Annual Local Executive Committee elections shall take place at the regular monthly Local meeting in January. Notice shall be given to all members at least 10 days in advance.
[edit] 5. Finances
- Voluntary annual Local dues of $10 (regular) and $5 (low-income or unemployed) shall be encouraged.
